The MikroTik R11e-LR2 is a 2.4 GHz LoRa Concentrator Gateway mini PCIe card at USD 69.00 — adds LoRa IoT gateway capability to any MikroTik device with a mini PCIe slot and connected USB lines, without requiring a dedicated standalone LoRa gateway.

**2.4 GHz LoRa — higher bandwidth, higher data rate, less air time**

Standard LoRa deployments use sub-GHz frequencies (868 MHz EU / 915 MHz North America) for maximum range. The R11e-LR2 operates at 2.4 GHz — trading some range for significantly higher bandwidth and data rate, and reduced air time per transmission. The direct benefit for high-density industrial deployments: more sensors, more messages per second, less channel congestion. MikroTik's explicit use case: "industrial setups with a high density of sensors."

**Chirp Spread Spectrum — no WLAN interference**

2.4 GHz LoRa uses Chirp Spread Spectrum (CSS) modulation — a fundamentally different modulation scheme from 802.11 WLAN. The R11e-LR2 transmits at 2.4 GHz without interfering with co-located 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi radios on the same host device or nearby access points.

**4 RX + 1 TX — concentrator gateway architecture**

Simultaneous reception on 4 independent RX channels enables the R11e-LR2 to act as a true LoRa concentrator — receiving from multiple end-devices concurrently, not just one at a time.
