MikroTik wAP LR9G Kit LoRa 915MHz GPS IoT Gateway
The MikroTik wAP LR9G kit (RBwAPR-2nD&R11e-LR9G) is a rugged, out-of-the-box LoRa 915 MHz IoT gateway combining LoRa wireless, built-in GPS, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 in MikroTik's proven weatherproof wAP enclosure. With Rx sensitivity down to -141 dBm, three power input options (PoE, automotive, and DC jack), SMA female connectors for external antennas, and a preinstalled UDP packet forwarder compatible with The Things Network and The Things Industries, it is a complete deploy-and-go LoRa gateway for smart agriculture, perimeter monitoring, asset tracking, industrial IoT, and any outdoor sensor deployment at USD 149.

The MikroTik wAP LR9G kit is the answer to the most common IoT deployment problem: getting LoRa sensor data reliably off the field, the rooftop, or the vehicle and onto your network — without an engineering project. Pull it out of the box, power it up, point it at The Things Network or your private LoRa server, and you have a production-ready LoRa gateway in minutes.
The R11e-LR9G card inside delivers 915 MHz LoRa coverage with Rx sensitivity down to -141 dBm — exceptionally strong for a compact gateway form factor. Higher sensitivity means more range, more reliable uplinks from low-power sensors, and fewer gateway deployments needed to cover a given area. The built-in GPS module (MT3337V, uUFL connector) provides accurate location tagging for mobile deployments — vehicles, vessels, and moving equipment where position context is as important as the sensor data itself.
The preinstalled UDP packet forwarder handles the network server connection side automatically. Pair the wAP LR9G with any public or private LoRa network — The Things Network, The Things Industries, ChirpStack, or a self-hosted deployment — and the forwarder routes sensor uplinks and downlinks without manual configuration of the LoRa stack.
The three power input options (Passive PoE 9–28V, DC jack 9–28V, automotive 12–30V) make the wAP LR9G genuinely flexible for challenging installation sites. Rooftop deployments run on PoE. Vehicle and mobile deployments connect directly to the automotive power circuit. Off-grid and solar-powered sites use the DC jack. The passive cooling design and -40°C to +60°C operating range ensure continuous operation in temperature extremes — from Canadian winters to industrial heat environments.
The MiniPCI-e slot is occupied by the R11e-LR9G LoRa card by default. The SIM slot supports an LTE modem if the LoRa card is removed and replaced — providing a cellular backhaul option for sites without wired or Wi-Fi connectivity. Note: the device does not include a built-in LTE modem; a separate modem card is required for cellular use.
