The MikroTik XQ+CM0000-XS+ is a QSFP28 to SFP28 form-factor converter — a passive adapter that allows any SFP / SFP+ / SFP28 module (1G / 10G / 25G) to be inserted into a QSFP28 100G/40G port, enabling the use of existing SFP28 transceivers and DAC cables in QSFP28 port-equipped switches without a separate SFP28 switch layer. The correct port-conversion accessory for CRS504-4XQ-IN, CRS518-16XS-2XQ-RM, CRS510-8XS-2XQ-IN, and any MikroTik or third-party switch with QSFP28 ports where existing SFP28 25G, SFP+ 10G, or SFP 1G modules need to be utilised without rewiring or adding a downstream switch.
